Hand crafted songs that convey the honesty found in the songs of the Americana spirit where a lot of their inspiration is found. From that high lonesome sound to mountain ballads to Celtic infused jams - notes and tones from Appalachia to the sun soaked shores of California are there all out of a NYC focus. A unique sound to be sure!
The band has been together close to six years and have created quite a blend of bluegrass, newgrass, country, rock and all things in between. The original songs express a vulnerability of raw emotion honed with a dose of reality.
The last couple of years has seen the band playing all over NYC with diversions in Virginia, Upstate NY, and Mexico.
BreezyGrass is: Vic LaMura, Steve Hawk, Jim Cronin, and Matty Lyons. A diverse take on acoustic/electric guitars, mandolin, upright bass, percussive drumming, harmonies, and a deep concentration on songwriting. Together creating something that must be experienced.
