Soft Re-opening Friday October 3rd
It delights me immensely to announce our soft-opening of our indoor space this Friday, October 4th, 2013. We still have work to get the restaurant and the kitchen to 100%, but we will finally have indoor space and begin to become normal again.
This has been a tough year for so many of us and its impact will be felt for a long time. My hope and dream is for a better tomorrow and I will continue to contribute in all ways to help achieve this.
After the storm, I felt optimistic that a safety net was in place and that a catastrophe of such magnitude would be met with government support of equal magnitude. While I have met with and worked with so many awesome, caring people, I was (and continue to be) so very disappointed with our government and the complexities put in place creating insurmountable hurdles. As a result, we like so many of you that may be reading this, have had a hard go of it getting back on our feet.
While I do feel drained and in need of a regular schedule, a reduction of anxiety and a full night’s sleep, I do believe the future is bright and will continue to devote myself making Thai Rock a place to enjoy, create good and lasting memories and tickle all the senses.
We will have a new menu soon that will add a whole new assortment of authentic Thai dishes to our already well-received Thai menu.
Our live music will be more varied and diverse and showcase some of the most talented musicians locally, nationally and from around the world.
Thai Rock will now be equipped with draft 24 beer lines, the most of any place in the Rockaways and a larger variety of bottled beer.
Come see for yourself what we have done and where Thai Rock is going. The Rockaways is a great place because of all the good folks here. We will continue to live and work here, support the community with career opportunities and celebrate life with our friends, family and customers.
