Our renovated and expanded kitchen is really beginning to hum again. I have been indulging every day this week in delicious foods I have not had in a year. I am delighting in a frenzy of tastes, textures and dishes and it feels so wonderfully indulgent.
This has been a particularly awesome week not only in our kitchen reopening, but our windows were installed.
There is something magical about a panoramic view of Jamaica Bay and now that view is back. It really uplifted me. So between the breathtaking views and all our great food, this has been a great week.
Thanks to everyone that made it to our soft re-opening last Friday featuring Singer songwriters Walker Hornung and Joe Cang and many friends, was a great way to get our insides christened.
