Tony O Blues with the Uptown Horns
Tony O Blues

Tony O teams up with the Uptown Horns, Legendary NYC-based horn section, who have toured Rolling Stones ("Steel Wheels") and played on #1 hit records (James Brown's "Living in America").

Born and raised in New York City. Tony 0' was greatly inspired by the King of Blues 'BB King'. Nominated with the late great Pinetop Perkins for the Grammy Award for 'Best Traditional Blues' on Pinetop's 'Born In The Delta' released on Telarc Records which included Tony O's original song 'Blues 0' Blues'. Tony O has toured and recorded with many Blues legends including Willie "big eye's" Smith, The Legendary Blues Band, Victoria Spivey, Zora Young, Jimmy Rogers, Calvin 'Fuzz'  Jones, James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, Bob Stroger, along with many other great Blues artists. Given the name Tony O by his mentors and good friends Howlin' Wolf and Hubert Sumlin way back in the early 70's.

This new CD shows the strong influence that all of these great legends have on Tony O's dedication to the real true Blues. Featuring The Uptown Horns, Chumslick Nick and all of the other serious musicians involved in this recording.
